Kids Village Activities
Welcome to Ebert's Kid's Village! Children can enjoy and adorable, quaint cottage, a little red barn, and an old fashioned schoolhouse in Ebert's Kids Village. Each building offers its own unique play area all season long. The craft cottage will be open at set times to invite children to participate in special spring and fall activities. All listed activities will be "ongoing" between the hours of 11am and 3pm. Each weekend listed, will include a free face painting & a garden craft. Planting projects will have a nominal fee.
Saturday April 19th (Rain Date: April 20th) - Grand Opening Tail Gate Celebrations
11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
All Free Activities!! Children can "warm up" by making tailgate crafts such as "Build-a-Burger Art", "Plug-in-a-cup" planting.
Saturday April 26 & Sunday April 27
Activities include a free "Froggy Fun" art project. You can Plant a "Soup Garden" for a small fee OR bring in 2 cans/boxes of soup and do the project for free!
SUNDAY ONLY: Awards ceremony for the winners of Ebert's Arbor Day Writing Contest @ 1:30 pm
Saturday May 3 & Sunday May 4
Children will be able to create a free Beautiful Butterfly Art. You can also do a Butterfly Garden pot planting for a small fee.
Saturday May 10 & Sunday May 11 - Make Magical Memories for Mom
Children, don't forget to visit the Kid's Village to create "Why I love you mom" art sheet and create a "Cutest Container Plantings for Mom". Also, enter a drawing to win a free plant for mom!
Saturday, May 17 & Sunday May 18
Kids, Come and make your own garden tote and plant your own Mini-Herb Garden!
Saturday - Monday, May 24-26th:
From 11-3 each day Kids Village will be hosting "Thank you Soldiers (a special project for our troops) and "Red, White, Blue...Gardens for you" activities.
Saturday, June 7 & Sunday, June 8:
From 11-3 each day celebrate Fun in the Sun Activities will be held in the Kid's Village. Activities will include helping us plant in Kid's Village, sidewalk chalk fun & Grab bag Garden Art!
Saturday, June 14 & Sunday, June 15 - Dad's Day Out
Children can participate in giving dad a hand by making Garden "Help" tags and creating a special container planting just for Dad!
