Angelonia

Is also called the summer snapdragon. The flowers look like small orchids, many with a contrary 'eye.' The added feature is that they have a fragrance similar to lilacs. Use angelonia in the sunny foreground or mid-border of a garden or as an accent in a container planting. It also makes an excellent cut flower. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil, It will tolerate heat and drought. Bloom time: May- October
