Preparing Your Garden for Winter

Fall is a great time to prepare your gardens for winter and next year’s growing season. Melinda will share eco-friendly tips for taking care of new and established perennial gardens, native plants, trees, and shrubs with beneficial insects in mind. She will provide tips on protecting plants from hungry critters and harsh winter weather. Plus, low maintenance ways to convert fall leaves and landscape trimmings into mulch and compost and ways to improve garden soil.
