NOTHING is silent- the team is all stirring about!

Plants are stocked in displays with care,

“There’s so much to do!” An excited buzz fills the air.

Busy preparation, continuous tasks, long hours and days,

Filling and stocking and watering endless soil trays.

“Where do we water first? Which greenhouses need venting?”

Growers are always treating new plants- and so carefully tending.

Big boxes arrive stacked in corners and rows-

With fun textures, colors, and seasonal show.

Each piece finds a place on a shelf, display, or stand-

So you can shop easily (with a coffee in hand)!

Annuals for color that bring bright cheer-

Perennials that are steady, reliable- returning each year.

And don’t forget edibles, tucked in their neat little rows-

We promise quality in all that we grow!

Radio chatter, boxes unpacking, ventilation fans too-

It’s not much longer ‘til we share it all with you!

But- hello wild spring weather! Snow, wind, cold, then hot!

No employee here enjoys that a lot.

We take it day by day- after all, it is the Midwest-

But we’re watching the weather and hoping for best!

The blessing of nice weather will indeed arrive soon-

When we open our doors, everything starts to bloom!
